Hipster cool meets London chic - Shoreditch is one of the city's most vibrant destinations, but this has not always been the case. During the 19th Century, this was a dark and dingy place of extreme poverty. With a long history of immigration from the Huguenots, the Irish and the Jews, all fleeing persecution or famine. Today it's home to the hipsters seeking to connect to the cool markets, street art, vintage shops and the wealth of cuisines on offer.

Join me on this fascinating walk through an area where my family have been living for generations! You will hear about the artists behind the street art, the people that have helped shape the area and try some local foods along the way!
